Cranberry Township, PA, January 13, 2020 – Westinghouse Electric Company today announced that Jill Redmon has been named Executive Vice President, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety.
“Jill brings many years of leadership in Quality and Reliability management in industrial organizations, regulated industries and from the automotive sector,” said Patrick Fragman, Westinghouse president and chief executive officer. “We are pleased to welcome her as a member of our executive leadership team.”
Prior to joining Westinghouse, Redmon held the position of Global Vice President – Seating Quality at Lear Corporation, a leading manufacturer of automotive seating and automotive electrical systems. In her role, she implemented global quality, warranty and safety initiatives, and provided the strategic direction and the operational leadership for global quality for the Fortune 500 company.
Redmon began her career at Ford Motor Company, later transitioning to Visteon Corporation. Throughout her career she has held a series of North American and global quality, health and safety leadership, and supply chain quality positions of increasing seniority. While at MANN+HUMMEL Gmbh, Redmon was a member of the Management Board Extended Committee and Group Vice President, Global Quality, Health, Safety and Environment where she led the global quality and health, safety and environment strategy and initiatives. Her previous experience includes roles at Ecolab Inc. and BorgWarner Inc., during which time she focused on supply chain quality development and supplier quality assurance.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Redmon earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a master’s degree in manufacturing engineering from the University of Michigan.
