Cranberry Township, Pa., June 2, 2026 – Westinghouse Electric Company announced the appointment of Johan Lundberg as Executive Vice President of its Global Quality, Environment, Health & Safety function, effective August 3.
In this position, Mr. Lundberg will be accountable to lead the advancement of Westinghouse’s nuclear safety culture, industrial safety, environmental management, quality assurance and continuous improvement programs.

Most recently, Mr. Lundberg served as CEO of the Oskarshamn Nuclear Power Plant in Sweden – overseeing the advanced decommissioning phase of Units 1&2 while leading the operations of Unit 3’s 1450 MW Boiling Water Reactor (BWR). Previously, he spent 24 years at Westinghouse in successive technical, logistics and operational leadership roles – including nearly five years as the Managing Director of its Nuclear Fuel Operations in Sweden.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Maintenance from the Mid Sweden University. Mr. Lundberg is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has also completed executive education programming at INSEAD.
