PITTSBURGH, March 29, 2016 – Westinghouse Electric Company today announced the appointment of Jeff Kubacki as vice president and chief information officer (CIO), responsible for delivering a broad range of global information technology initiatives.
In his role, Jeff will assume oversight of the Information Systems team and operations, with responsibility for Westinghouse’s long-term information technology roadmap.

This appointment demonstrates the company’s continued focus on the strategic global role of technology as a driver of innovation,” said Steve Hamilton, Westinghouse’s senior vice president, Quality, Environment, Health and Safety.
Kubacki joins Westinghouse with more than 30 years of experience and is a recognized leader in information technology, data security, and business operations. He was most recently the senior vice president & CIO responsible for the IT and Corporate Supply Chain Management organizations for ATK, a global $5.3 billion aerospace, defense and outdoor sports and recreation company. Jeff led the transformation of IT from a tactical organization to strategic business partners while serving as an instrumental contributor to the overall business strategy and leadership team.
Kubacki will assume his new role at Westinghouse on April 4, 2016, reporting to Hamilton and will be based at the corporate headquarters in Cranberry Township.
