Cranberry Township, PA, August 25, 2026 – Westinghouse Electric Company has successfully completed zero-power criticality testing for its eVinci™ microreactor, which validated the models and core design assumptions of the technology. The test was completed in partnership with Los Alamos and Idaho National Laboratories at the National Criticality Experiments Research Center (NCERC), a National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) facility at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS), on August 24, 2026 at 10:39 a.m. PT.
