Westinghouse, Bechtel Host Polish Suppliers for AP1000® Reactor Deployment

More than 250 industry representatives attended the two-day session

Cranberry Township, PA – April 4, 2023 – Westinghouse Electric Company and Bechtel hosted a two-day symposium in Warsaw to highlight AP1000® reactor supplier opportunities for Poland’s new nuclear energy program. Representatives from more than 100 companies representing the civil construction, mechanical and electrical industries attended the event.

Westinghouse Reinforces its Commitment to Energy Security in Czech Republic

Prague, Czech Republic – March 29, 2023 – Westinghouse Electric Company and CEZ signed an agreement to supply VVER-440 fuel assemblies at the Dukovany Power Plants. Westinghouse will deliver fuel beginning in 2024, replacing the current supplier, with an anticipated term of seven years.
