PITTSBURGH –Dec. 21, 2017 – Westinghouse Electric Company is pleased to learn of today’s decision by the Georgia Public Service Commission to proceed with construction on the two AP1000® nuclear power plants currently under construction at the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant near Waynesboro, Georgia.

LAS VEGAS, Dec. 5, 2017 – Stone & Webster formally debuts today at the POWER-GEN International conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The re-emerged Stone & Webster combines its legacy of project excellence with Westinghouse Electric Company expertise, and supports projects in the fossil and renewable power generation sectors. Westinghouse acquired Stone & Webster in 2016, expanding its capabilities in areas outside of nuclear.

PITTSBURGH – Nov. 30, 2017 – Westinghouse Electric Company announced today that Ken Canavan has been appointed chief technology officer (CTO), effective January 2, 2018.

PITTSBURGH – Oct. 25, 2017 – Westinghouse Electric Company announced today that Dan Sumner has been named chief financial officer by the Westinghouse Board of Directors. He had served as acting chief financial officer since May 2017.
