PITTSBURGH, Oct. 20, 2016 – Westinghouse Electric Company announced that it received authorization today from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to restart the Conversion Area operations of the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (Columbia, South Carolina) after the area was shut down in July due to safety concerns over a ventilation scrubber.

PITTSBURGH: October 4, 2016 – Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC has signed a definitive agreement with AZZ Inc. to acquire Nuclear Logistics Inc. (NLI), the largest third-party supplier of safety-related equipment solutions to the nuclear industry. The acquistion supports Westinghouse’s global commitment to develop practical, long-term solutions that deliver customer value for new construction and operating plants.

KIEV, September 30, 2016 – Today, Westinghouse Electric Company and NAEK Energoatom, the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine, released a joint statement discussing the companies’ future partnership to sustain the safety of Ukraine’s nuclear reactor fleet.
