The agreement marks the next step in advancing the three-unit AP1000® project in Choczewo, Pomeranian Voivodeship and was witnessed by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and US Energy Secretary Chris Wright.

Under the agreement, Celeros FT has the potential to design and fabricate valves and pumps for key AP1000® and AP300™ projects.
Peterborough, Ontario, April 2, 2025 – Westinghouse Electric Company and Chemetics Inc. announced today they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support nuclear new-build projects in Canada and globally. Under the agreement, Chemetics has the potential to design and fabricate alloy or carbon steel vessels and heat exchangers for key AP1000® and AP300™ projects.
Peterborough, Ontario, March 19, 2025 – Westinghouse Electric Company and Shawflex have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support nuclear new-build projects in Canada and globally. Under the agreement, Shawflex has the potential to provide cables, connectors and assemblies for key AP1000®, AP300™ and eVinci™ projects.
Peterborough, Ontario, March 6, 2025 – Westinghouse Electric Company today announced the signing of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with six Canadian suppliers in Saskatchewan to support nuclear new build projects in Canada and around the world. These agreements are a direct result of Westinghouse’s Saskatchewan Supplier Symposium, which provided a forum for potential suppliers to learn about supporting Westinghouse’s new-build projects and technologies.
Cranberry Township, PA, January 30, 2025 – Westinghouse Electric Company announced today the signing of a contract with Slovenia’s state-owned power company GEN energija to conduct a Technical Feasibility Study (TFS) assessing the deployment of an AP1000® reactor in support of its nuclear new-build strategy. Westinghouse has teamed with Hyundai Engineering & Construction Company to conduct the TFS.
Peterborough, Ontario, December 9, 2024 – Westinghouse Electric Company welcomes the Letter of Interest (LOI) for up to U.S. $1.45 billion ($2.02 billion CAD) in potential financing from Export Development Canada (EDC) to support the sale of goods and services by Canadian suppliers to build Poland’s AP1000 project, its first nuclear power plant. Westinghouse will help facilitate the potential financing for Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ), the state-owned company that is responsible for developing the plant at the Lubiatowo-Kopalino site in Pomerania.
