On Feb. 27, 2026, the Chris Savinda Memorial Chain Reaction Contraption Contest (CRCC) brought 60 high school students from the Southwestern Pennsylvania region to Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pa.

Westinghouse was proud to sponsor the Electric Hornets, Lower Richland High School’s robotics team, as they competed in FIRST Robotics competitions in Charleston, SC and Hopkins just minutes from our Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility. These students showcased incredible talent, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while competing against teams from across the country.
