This summer, more than 250 young professionals are interning at Westinghouse, exemplifying the best of the next generation of nuclear energy professionals as the industry ramps up for myriad new-build projects in the years ahead.

With fresh ideas, diverse perspectives and excitement to begin their careers, Westinghouse interns are working at our facilities across the world to help bolster the nuclear industry.

Westinghouse CFFF Emergency Response Team is Proud to Support our Neighbors in Times of Need

The Westinghouse Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) emergency response organization supports the site 24/7. Because our plant is in a relatively remote area, we have the capability to respond at any time to almost any emergency that could occur on-site. “Friends of Congaree Swamp” Visited the Grounds of the Denley Cemetery

A group from the “Friends of Congaree Swamp” visited the grounds of the Denley Cemetery on the Westinghouse Columbia Site property. The Denley Cemetery is a historically black cemetery located on a bluff overlooking Upper Sunset Lake. Information about the cemetery is documented in a Cultural Resources Report the site commissioned in 2021/2022. The group was very appreciative for the opportunity to visit the cemetery, and several of the members shared what they knew of its history. Westinghouse maintains the cemetery as part of its commitment to preserving history and honoring the individuals buried there.
