As a long-time partner with Ukraine, Westinghouse reinforced its commitment to the nation’s future reconstruction by attending the 2025 Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) in July. Held in Rome, the fourth annual URC included events and discussions dedicated to the swift recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine from the Russian invasion.

eVinci® Microreactor Selected for Experiments in DOME Test Bed

In July, the Westinghouse eVinci® microreactor was conditionally selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for testing in the National Reactor Innovation Center’s (NRIC) Demonstration of Microreactor Experiments (DOME) facility at Idaho National Laboratory (INL). 

Westinghouse Participates in College and Career Awareness Experience

Westinghouse participated in the College and Career Awareness Experience, which was hosted by Envisioning your Purpose, LLC at Bible Way Church of Atlas Road.  Students from the Lower Richland area learned about Westinghouse and the educational paths needed to pursue STEM careers. Several of the students and parents inquired about current employment opportunities as well as future careers within the Westinghouse organization.  

Palisades Nuclear Plant Restart Achieves Full INPO Accreditation with Westinghouse Training Leadership

Westinghouse is celebrating a major milestone in the Palisades Nuclear Plant restart journey: the site’s training department has now achieved full accreditation from the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) across all five key disciplines: Operations, Maintenance, Chemistry, Radiation Protection and Engineering.
