Westinghouse Explores Clean Hydrogen Production at Nuclear Power Plants

The demand for carbon-free hydrogen fuel is expected to grow tenfold by 2050, as the race is on to transition away from fossil fuels and hydrogen produced by fossil fuels. Hydrogen fuel is made for uses in fertilizer, transportation and heavy industries like steel and iron production.

Seniors from the Lower Richland area gathered to receive information from Sheriff Leon Lott, Senator Darrell Jackson, Representative Jermaine Johnson, Kendra Dove, and other elected officials.

Westinghouse was a proud sponsor of the American Heart Association’s Annual Heart Ball. Several companies in the midlands participated in events including auctions to support the research of this amazing organization, which focuses advancing lifesaving research for both heart and brain health. The American Heart Association continues to focus on improving the total health and well-being of communities and removing barriers across the country.

Gadsden Elementary School SC TEST Pep Rally, Career Day, and 12th Annual Rainbow International Charity Golf Classic

CFFF participated in the Gadsden Elementary School SC TEST Pep Rally. This time of year, the students participate in various state-mandated tests. They are tested in Reading, Math, Science, and Writing. The Pep rally was held to excite students about the upcoming tests and encourage them to do their best. CFFF donated four bicycles to be awarded to the students who score the highest in each area.
