Employees from the Columbia Site were excited to participate in the Midlands Annual Heart Walk. The event was held at Segra Park and included several booths dedicated to educating the public on heart health. Westinghouse was represented in both the 1K and 5K routes and employees were proud to represent those family members and friends affected by heart disease.

Grand Expansion Opening
On March 20, 2024, Westinghouse hosted a grand opening of the Burlington office expansion with Westinghouse Canada leadership and Bill Walker from the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI). The expansion will enable job creation in support of Westinghouse’s continued contributions to the future of Canada’s nuclear sector.

At Westinghouse, we empower the next generation to think outside of the box and solve tough challenges in creative ways. That is why we are proud to sponsor the annual Chain Reaction Contraption Competition (CRCC). It is a spirited, STEM-based competition for high school students in which they are challenged to achieve a simple task in 20 steps or more using general laws of physics and mechanical principles – with each triggering the initiation of the next action and eventually resulting in achievement of the final goal.
