Cranberry Township, PA, January 9, 2025 – After more than five years as President and CEO of Westinghouse Electric Company, Patrick Fragman has announced his intent to step down at the end of March 2025 to spend more time in Europe with his family. Patrick will continue to support Westinghouse for a few more months after March 31 to facilitate the handover to the new CEO.

Peterborough, Ontario, December 12, 2024 – Westinghouse Electric Company and BWXT Canada, Ltd. announced today they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support nuclear new-build projects in Canada and globally. Under the agreement, BWXT Canada has the potential to manufacture key AP1000® and AP300™ reactor components, including steam generators, reactor vessels, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.
