Prague, Czech Republic – March 29, 2023 – Westinghouse Electric Company and CEZ signed an agreement to supply VVER-440 fuel assemblies at the Dukovany Power Plants. Westinghouse will deliver fuel beginning in 2024, replacing the current supplier, with an anticipated term of seven years.

The two companies submitted a bid in November to support the Czech Republic’s planned expansion of its nuclear power fleet with the AP1000® reactor, the world’s most advanced, proven nuclear reactor in operation globally.
