Project Creates Roadmap for Future Digital Safety System Upgrades

As Part of the Company's Growth Strategy in Outage, Engineering and Digital Services
Madrid, Spain, October 4, 2021 –Westinghouse Electric Company has signed a definitive agreement with Iberdrola and Naturgy to acquire 50% of Tecnatom. This acquisition advances the company’s strategy to expand its technical nuclear outage, engineering, and digital services capabilities worldwide. Once completed, Westinghouse will co-own and co-manage Tecnatom with Endesa through a joint venture.
Cooperation Improves Annual Power Output and Reduces Operational Costs in VVER Reactors
Kyiv, Ukraine, September 22, 2021 – Westinghouse Electric Company and NT-Engineering LLC Company announced today a signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to implement maintenance optimization and system repair projects for water-water energetic reactors (VVER), a milestone aiming at increasing the safety levels and performance of these reactors in Ukraine.

Pioneer in Carbon-Free Energy Appoints President of Americas Operating Plant Services
Cranberry Township, PA, September 9, 2021 – Westinghouse Electric Company announced today that Pamela Cowan has been appointed president of Americas operating plant services unit (AOPS). Ms. Cowan has been in the commercial nuclear industry for over 30 years, most recently as senior vice president of Holtec International and Chief Operating Officer of Holtec Decommissioning International. She takes over the business on September 21, following the retirement of the current president, David Howell.
Poland Becomes Westinghouse Global Services Hub
Krakow, Poland, September 9, 2021 – Westinghouse Electric Company today officially opened its Global Shared Services Center in Krakow. With this new facility, Poland becomes a global services hub for the company. Located in Zablocie Business Park B, the facility will have nearly 160 highly qualified employees from seven business functions that will work to support the company's global operations.
