Cranberry Township, PA, September 9, 2021 – Westinghouse Electric Company announced today that Pamela Cowan has been appointed president of Americas operating plant services unit (AOPS). Ms. Cowan has been in the commercial nuclear industry for over 30 years, most recently as senior vice president of Holtec International and Chief Operating Officer of Holtec Decommissioning International. She takes over the business on September 21, following the retirement of the current president, David Howell.

Krakow, Poland, September 9, 2021 – Westinghouse Electric Company today officially opened its Global Shared Services Center in Krakow. With this new facility, Poland becomes a global services hub for the company. Located in Zablocie Business Park B, the facility will have nearly 160 highly qualified employees from seven business functions that will work to support the company's global operations.

Cranberry Township, PA, August 31, 2021 – Westinghouse Electric Company and Energoatom, the state-owned nuclear utility of Ukraine, have signed an exclusive agreement to bring Westinghouse AP1000® reactors to multiple sites in Ukraine. The signing of the historic agreement took place at the Department of Energy Headquarters in Washington, DC, and was witnessed by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Honorable Jennifer Granholm, the United States Secretary of Energy, and the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko.
