PITTSBURGH – June 28, 2016 – Westinghouse Electric Company today applauded Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) for their startup of the Watts Bar Unit 2 reactor, the seventh operating reactor in its nuclear fleet.

These transitions are effective today, with Danny Roderick as president and CEO of Toshiba Corporation’s Energy Systems and Solutions Company (ESS). The successful completion of CHT confirms that the reactor systems meet design pressures under operating and accident conditions and signifies the completion of the plant’s design and construction programs.
