PITTSBURGH, August 22, 2016 – Today Westinghouse Electric Company announced a series of executive leadership transitions in its Nuclear Fuel and Components Manufacturing organization. These transitions begin today, with Michele DeWitt becoming interim senior vice president of the organization, which includes the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) in Columbia, S.C.

(USA), Jim Cook oversees the production of fuel cladding components that go into assemblies that fuel a nuclear power plant. Jenkinsville, S.C., August 9, 2016 – This week Westinghouse Electric Company completed the placement of two modules that are part of the innovative safety systems of the AP1000® Unit 2 currently under construction at the V.C. Summer Nuclear Station.

PITTSBURGH, July 24, 2016 – In October, 2015, Westinghouse entered into a Purchase Agreement with Chicago Bridge & Iron Company N.V. (CB&I) for the acquisition of CB&I Stone & Webster Inc., CB&I’s nuclear construction and integrated services businesses by Westinghouse. On July 21, 2016, CB&I initiated a legal proceeding against Westinghouse in Delaware Chancery Court with respect to the post-closing reconciliation process.
