Columbia Safety and Emergency Response Professionals Trained Alongside the Richland County Sheriff's Department
At Westinghouse, safety goes beyond our facility. It’s a shared commitment with the communities where we work and live. Recently, our Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility safety and emergency response professionals trained alongside the Richland County Sheriff's Department, South Carolina National Guard’s 43rd WMD Civil Support Team, and local emergency partners during a joint exercise. Working side by side with our community partners helps ensure we’re ready to respond quickly, safely, and effectively when it matters most. WIN Chapter at Columbia Site Hosts Engineering Students from Benedict College
The Women in Nuclear chapter at the Columbia site was pleased to host engineering students from Benedict College . The students were highly engaged and asked insightful questions during discussions with Westinghouse employees.
