Westinghouse sponsors the Koinonia Foundation’s STEM Camp

Students from the Lower Richland Community attended the camp, which was held at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, in Hopkins, SC. The program promoted activities that were designed to enhance the knowledge of local students in science and technology.

Westinghouse Sponsors Lower Richland Juneteenth Festival

Westinghouse was a corporate sponsor for the Lower Richland Juneteenth Festival, which was hosted by SERCO (South East Rural Community Outreach). The festival was held at the historic Harriet Barber House & Grounds in Hopkins, SC and drew residents from near and far to enjoy African drummers and other cultural performers, exhibits,  storytelling, music, and local vendors.

Westinghouse Visits Antioch AME Zion Church Summer Enrichment Academy

Westinghouse was excited to be a part of the Antioch AME Zion Church Summer Enrichment Academy in Eastover, SC. A sincere thank you to CFFF engineers Brittany Badger, Haley Balcom, and Victor Singleton who shared information with the children about careers in engineering and participated in hands-on activities, building bridges and towers.

Westinghouse Sponsors South Carolina's PMECS Camp

Westinghouse was a corporate sponsor for the University of South Carolina’s College of Engineering Partners for Mentoring in Engineering and Computer Science Camp (PMECS).  PMECS addresses minority representation in STEM be increasing STEM interest, raising career awareness, improving college preparation, and inspiring academic excellence. Westinghouse engineers provided information to the students about careers in engineering as well as interview etiquette.

Westinghouse CFFF Proudly Sponsors WLTX News 19's Player of the Week

Westinghouse is proud to serve as the corporate sponsor for the WLTX News 19 Player of the Week Program. The end of the year celebration was held to honor all of the high school athletes for the year. Two of the honorees, Jayden Williams and Ainsley Bryan were chosen as Players of the Year, and were awarded scholarships for their academic achievements. A special thank you to Renee Sumpter and Michael Washington for proudly representing CFFF!

Columbia Supports Gadsden Elementary School in their 2025 Field Day

Westinghouse was thrilled to support one of our school partners, Gadsden Elementary School, in their 2025 Field Day.  The CFFF brigade was in attendance to participate in the festivities, allowing the students to learn techniques that the firefighters use, and of course to enjoy playing in the water to cool down on a hot South Carolina day!

Columbia Sponsors Rainbow Restoration Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Westinghouse was a proud corporate sponsor for the Rainbow Restoration Annual Charity Golf Tournament.  The tournament supports mothers that have stage IV breast cancer and offers both financial and emotional support for families that are affected by this disease.

Columbia Helps Stomp No More to "Stomp Out Crime"

Westinghouse served as a top corporate sponsor for Stomp No More’s “Stomp Out Crime” community day. This non-profit organization marks 4 years of community outreach, service, and crime prevention with a day celebrating healing, hope, and support for community members. Stomp No More is dedicated to connecting the community with law enforcement, local organizations, and neighbors in hopes of building safer and stronger communities, and CFFF was honored to be a part of this initiative.
